A Happy Reminder

Recall the man who loved the grits? I mean the food not the musical duo. Anyway as I was reading it came to my attention that kings of old had a notorious habit of saying things only God should have been saying. For instance King Nebby; “Is this not this Great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power and for the honour of my majesty?” Daniel 4:30.

I would like to think that before God made His judgement upon this man, He first laughed. I mean imagining a poem telling itself “Look what great rhyme and rhythm I have made for myself?” Wouldn’t I laugh!

My, My! Why this obsession we have with Me, myself and I? Kings are singing happy songs of I have built myself a kingdom for my honour and my majesty. Everyday we give off Nebby-like tendencies thinking that we have done it on our own, by our selves and go boasting while God judges us amidst laughter!

So how come we actually forget that God is there, watching each move, anticipating every thought? We do things in the darkness of our pride, our greed even our rooms forgetting that darkness to God is like light! This one cracked me up- I mean while we are busy imagining it is dark, God is there staring. I think He would love to close His eyes to all the silly things we do but He can’t- He sees all.

Well, this one is to remind us of two things. One; God wants you laughing. Two; God wants you thankful. He wants you to happily give praise and adoration for the things He has done ( yes, I said He, not you-hahahaha). And so after the accomplishments He has seen us through as a family, I think a big thank you is in order to the Most High King of Kings ( the one who made Nebby walk around like a he-goat after he claimed it was him who had built the kingdom-hahahaha; ‘he- got what was coming to him-please, more laughter)!!!

Ah. God is amazing. He just plants it there; from nowhere! You ask what? I mean his joy!

Love you.

My phone issues

Can you imagine after all of this time, only one person has been putting comments on the blog? Thanks dear one. We expect to receive your threat with much joy.lol. Okay, the new year has set off, where are the off campus crew- remember BASIC does not game on campu- it goes on, to our missions, workplaces etc.

There is this thing called 100% free calls on Mango, how is it treating u Mango guys. Me am not fully registered on Mango so I do not get calls at weird hours all because of 100%. Wabula Ugandans love free things!! Mbu u call up a beloved after 11pm!!! You cannot even spend money on the beloved, you wait for 100%?

MTN is worse, in addition to having a lot of airtime on the phone, you are not able to use it because when 10pm clocks, the network is down!! So I am so loaded in terms of airtime but I cannot use it!! The only time I can use it is 6-8am when people are sleeping.

Now my Celtel experience is by far the worst! These guys' off peak hour starts at midnight! Hahaha! I laughed! You see I had called customer service to ask about their off peak hours and rates. Can you imagine the lady even giggled while telling me that their off peak hour starts at 0000hrs! And I also have my 50% extra there.

You must be wondering, do i have three lines? I will let you know.

Now, on campus people, when is our porkaty? we are waiting. Eh, come for primetime, if i spare budde, I will be there. Take care of yourselves.

God loves you.

Then to open VB (by the way if you are getting confused- this is not visual basic, rather Virtual Base) and what a myriad of e-mail!!! I am so overjoyed!!!! I feel like going for porkaty right now in virtual base!!!

Kati, I cannot believeP7 is talking of freshers and in that particular sense, (oops, sorry phlyte I read your mail, my eyes just failed to jump that part)....Soke, is she fine?

Now, we need activity from the sics? what happened are they sentencing BASIC to BIC? Do not misquote me here, but how can man live alone with fellow man?

By the way given how I am no longer going to be able to render my services as big bro we shd be looking to God to open our eyes to a vibrant, spirit led, passionate about BASIC, in love with love person to take BASIC to the next level- as Joshua was, so shall he be, as Elisha was, so shall he be and as Isaac was, so shall he be.....lol I hope i am not blaspheming, naye hmmm- someone to take on double annointing of power, authority, passion; someone to enter the BASIC-ites into the promised land. Man guys, the night should not fall and we have not done a thing for our Lord, let the plans get underway. I shall propose ideas and hope they are taken up.

Like, why not we attend PrimeTime at our usual place on pool on Sato? All of the elders!!! Ehhhh!!! We Go!!!

Naye, u guys are surely godsent coz i came to tawu feeling weird naye wen i read your mail, my face turned into a bulb!!!

Prayer day.

Hey family, tomorrow is prayer day at Seguku prayer mountain. Carry your own transport. We are leaving at exactly 8am. If you come late, take a taxi and find us there.

Now, thanks all who paid for the birthday party, for those who organised, for those who bought gifts, i really appreciate your efforts. Keep it up, there is a greater reward.

My call is that we learn to keep time lest we be backtracked by the devil. Also let us not forget to keep written records. Write reports. Pray for each other daily, and strengthen each other.

I enjoyed the party, thanks to whoever bought the cake, it is sweet.

Otherwise I love you all.
God bless.

Fading Negro

How can I be proud
Of a nation arrogant and loud?
Worshippers of race before heart
Those who murder the innocent in cold blood.
Eh Africanism Oyee!
*"Nze obudugavu mbupoye!"
I will not rejoice with a nation
That merries at the death of another.
Tell me to get real-
But am sorry I've lost that zeal,
Innocent blood has been shed
On account of clogged heads.
Is it not "For God and My Country"?
Shall I kill because of unfair bounty?
I thought we turn the other cheek
I thought we forgive and forget?
Check yourself. Are we really Ugandan?
Are we the ones who glory in death of others,
Are we so vengeful we don't think
About the trouble spilled blood can bring?
My Uganda is warm,
My Uganda is calm
So where is this nation?
Are we tranced by hatred?

How many times do we see the west getting caught up in such racialist violence? Are we not experienced enough to know violence does nothing? Why should people lose innocent lives? Is Africa known for thinking with matchetes and sticks and guns amd not their hearts and brains? Should we not be so ashamed of such a thing?

Easter

Easter quotes. ( from www.Christianitytoday.com)

SOCRATES mastered the art of dying; Christ overcame death as "the last enemy" (1 Cor. 15:26). There is a real difference between the two things; the one is within the scope of human possibilities, the other means resurrection. It is not from ars moriendi, the art of dying, but from the resurrection of Christ that a new and purifying wind can blow through our present world. … If a few people really believed that and acted on it in their daily lives, a great deal would be changed. To live in the light of the Resurrection—that is what Easter means.Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Letters and Papers from Prison

THE GREAT JOY that the disciples felt when they saw the risen Lord, that "burning of heart" that they experienced on the way to Emmaus, were not because the mysteries of an "other world" were revealed to them, but because they saw the Lord… . They announced what they knew, that in Christ the new life has already begun, that he is Life Eternal, the ...

Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death with death.—Eastern Orthodox hymn

Einstein + Sex = God

As a backslidden atheist, I was fascinated by a recent interview with Lee Strobel (The Case for Christ) and world famous philosophical atheist-turned-creationist, Anthony Flew (to watch, see LeeStrobel.com). After watching this 83-year-old Oxford professor, a fun apologetic equation popped into my mind that has proven effective with skeptics.
Plain and simple -- top atheist, Anthony Flew, has changed his mind about God. He said that Albert Einstein was right when he felt that there must be intelligence behind the integrated complexities in the natural world. In simple English, that means that Einstein said that dead things like rocks, metal, plastic, light, and air are made up of such complicated systems that depend on each other to exist, that there must be some intelligent being that put them together. "Mr. E=MC2" said that.
Anthony Flew said that with the huge discoveries in biological science since Einstein's day, its even more obvious there must be a God. Flew said, "If that is a sound argument, the integrated complexity of the organic world is just inordinately greater -- all the creatures are complicated pieces of design. So an argument that is important about the physical world is immeasurably stronger when applied to the biological world." In simple words, he was saying that if non-living things like rocks proved that God exists, then living things (like human beings and animals) with their much more complex and interdependent systems, make it a no-brainer that there must be an Intelligent Designer. "Mr. Ex-Top Atheist" said that!
Einstein and Flew's point is very simple. Think of it like this. You're in high school. Your science teacher tells you that for your final exam you can choose to either build a rock or a human being. Which would you choose? Of course, the rock would be much easier because a human being is much more complicated. If Einstein says that rocks are made of stuff so complicated that it proves there must be a God, then human beings make it even more obvious because they are much more complicated than rocks!
Try it yourself. Build a baby from scratch (no cheating with pre-manufactured humans). Baby building is very complex. You need an ovary, an egg, fallopian tubes, a uterus, a hormone called estrogen, an umbilical cord, a placenta, and countless other womanly things that all work hand in hand to make a baby. Not only that, you'll also need the necessary information-packed sperm, and tubes to transport them to the egg. Each of these very delicate systems must work in perfect harmony to make a baby. And if it doesn't happen successfully over and over again, the human race will disappear.
Could you build each one of these complex systems, time them to work together in perfect sync, and produce a brand new human in 9 months that will grow, think, walk, talk, sing, do the electric slide, play basketball, AND...be able to reproduce more humans with these same capabilities and complex systems? Could you do that?
Now think what the atheist is saying. He says that all this happened without a Creator. There was no "mind" behind creation. So imagine if I sucked the brain out of your head and then told you to build what we have just talked about. Could you do that? It's obvious why the thinking atheist has to admit there must be a God.
So the next time you're speaking with a skeptic, remember this little equation: Einstein + Sex = God. And use it the next time someone asks you for proof for a Creator.
But don't stop there! Learn how to use the Ten Commandments to speak to the conscience and lead them to the Savior. That's when the cross, Heaven, and Hell will make sense. When that happens, get ready to watch atheists backslide and anti-Christians kneel at the cross in humble, repentant, faith.

Wonderful knowledge

Bless you.

How are you good people. I say you are good because Christ is in you. Yesterday I got a revelation in Church about who is in you. Most of us believe only the Holy Spirit dwells in us, but wait my sister, hold on my brother, You have the whole trinity living inside you, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Jhn 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
-> The Holy Spirit promised here.

Jhn 14:23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
->Jesus and The Father promise to make their abode with those who love and keep Jesus; words.

Jhn 15:5
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
->Jesus promises to abide in thise who abide in Him so that they bring forth much fruit.

Dear Ones, is it not such a magnificent thing for the knowledge that we have the presence of God in us?! We are the habitation of the most High and Lofty! Such knowledge is too wonderful is it not!!

Brethren, on this earth let us be as though we are in SPACE SUITS, we carry the atmosphere of heaven. Though this world is not our home, and is fast fading, let us be dressed in the whleness of God! We have heaven's atmosphere in us! Hallelujah!! So do not be discouraged! You are set apart, higly favoured, much loved...you are called friend, you are called child.

God is not unjust, He is mercy itself, He is providence itself, He is healing itself and many more. You have such a great resource for victory in this world. You shall only fail if you let the devil but more good news, though the thief cometh to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly! Amen!

Banange, go forth and live as sons and daughters of the Most High. You are totally blessed! Your cup runs over!

Bless the Lord for such knowledge.

Love, Big Bro.

where is this one?

Anyone seen her? Tell her she is wanted....

After A long Time

Yagayo!!

Praise be to the Lord.

Brothers and Sisters, as I speak it is 10th March 2007 and we are going to Bishop Cipriano Kihangire SSS to minister good manners and ultimately the word of God!

I wanted to talk about the Holy Spirit.

It was disappointing for me when on Tuesday after supposedly sharing about the Holy Spirit, we acted as though we were not filled with Him and paid more attention to the flesh. This is my concern, when we are sharing, do we wait for the one sharing to end or do we listen with the intention of putting these things in application?

Brothers and Sisters, we are Christian, we are led by the Holy Ghost. The Word of God says in Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Righteousness, peace and joy. So why were we acting like we have none of those?

We are going to BCK, not because we must but because we would love to go abd share the love of God with these kids! Banange, it is my earnest request that whatever we do, we do with sincere desire not just being forced.

And may I remind you again, there are three things that endure, Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest of these is Love!

Love one another because love bears all things, endures all things... I love you, love one another.

God bless.
